The Show will be rolling in for nine days in 2019 from February 2-10. The Great American Outdoor Show: What to Expect? – If you've never had the chance to attend this famous outdoor show in the past, then you're in for a real treat! The show features amazing things for men, women, and children alike such as country concerts, seminars, fundraising dinners, archery and dog competitions, celebrity appearances, over 1,100 exhibitors, and much more!
Exhibitors – Nine exhibition halls will be filled with over 1,100 displays featuring everything you need for hunting and fishing, including archery, guns, fishing tackle, RV's, and more! Included among these will be over 400 outfitters and boat captains from across the globe! (Check out this link for a map of the expo grounds.)
Outdoor Celebrities & Seminars – The show will be full of celebrity outdoors experts who will be hosting a variety of seminars throughout the nine day period. You can expect riveting seminars covering everything from fishing techniques to self-defense techniques, game cooking demos to trapping demos, and more!
Want to learn more about fancy fishing techniques? Join Travis Manson in the Hawg Tank (Fishing Hall) for the very first seminar of the expo on Smallmouth Bass Fishing! Or are you interested in birds and wildlife? The Raptors Up Close – Birds of Prey seminar will be hosted on multiple days and is sure to be fun for the whole family! Other exciting seminars include Duck Calling With the "Duck Commander" by Phil Robertson, The Art of Cooking Venison with Albert Wusch, The Basics of Outdoor Video and Photography by Tom Petry, and so much more. Country Concert – The NRA hosted Country Concert is a hit every year and never fails to sell out! Look forward to this exciting night of hit country music on February 9, from 6-10 PM at the Large Arena. This year's concert features Grammy-nominated country star Lee Brice and includes special guest stars Easton Corbin and Tyler Farr! (Purchase your country tickets ahead of time here.)
Competitions & Activities For All – There are all kinds of exciting activities for all in the family to enjoy every day of the show! Teach your children how to fish at the Kids Trout Pond or teach them to shoot a bow at the Archery Hall. Other fun activities include a rock wall, the NRA Air Gun Range, and Kids Casting Contest! Start off your expo experience on February 2 by watching skillfully trained dogs in the DockDogs Competition to be crowned the doggy king!
