2019 Peach Festival in Cumberland Valley PA!

June 22, 2019

This summer, come spend a weekend in sunny Cumberland Valley to celebrate the 29th Annual Peach Festival! From 12pm to 4:30pm, August 10-11, visitors and residents alike can come for a variety of peach-flavored treats and family-friendly events. The pride of Peach Fest are the homemade Peach Ice Cream Sundaes: golden, juicy peaches served over rich vanilla ice cream makes for a summer treat that will be remembered well into the winter!

Peach Fest is part of a yearly rotation of fruit-themed festivals put on by the Hollabaugh Bros, a local fruit farm and marketplace. Other festivals include Strawberry Fest in late spring, Blueberry Fest mid-summer, even the Apple Harvest Festival in the fall; and soon it will be time to collect the peaches!

Pennsylvania has been celebrating the fuzzy fruit since 1990, and the celebration has only grown bigger with age. Families are encouraged to come explore a special attraction: The Fairy Tale Trail, a path that's a walking storybook! There will also be face painting, wagon rides, and a bounce house to round out the fun. Along with peachy treats and tons of samples, food will be both provided by and in support of the United Way of Adam County.

While visitors partake in all the peachy fun, live music will be featured at the fest. Saturday brings easy listenin' with acoustic Americana bluegrass played by Klinger McFry. Sunday visitors can expect some dancing while they listen to Across the Pond, a lively band that plays traditional and contemporary Celtic music. To make things even sweeter, Peach Fest admission is free to all visitors, with a $1 parking fee that benefits the United Way of Adams County.
