We were passing by en route to visit family, and we decided to stay based on the excellent reviews that this place has. We were not disappointed!! Even when we hit traffic on the highway and had to adjust our arrival time (twice!!!), they were incredibly accomodating and friendly. Well worth the price, not even considering the top-class breakfast that was included with our stay! Thanks so much for the amazing stay, and we'll be stopping by again for sure! (:

Pheasant Field has that warm, welcoming atmosphere that you hope to find at a Bed & Breakfast. You would never know that Kevin and Amy have only been at this for less than a year. Amy's cooking is unbelievable! I don't know that I've had a nicer breakfast at a restaurant; and that was experienced three mornings in a row...all different choices. So delicious! And Kevin is Mr. Hospitality. He is eager to make you fell comfortable in their home for the night. It's within easy access of Carlisle and their array of wonderful restaurants, but well enough away from business of the city. A perfect spot! What a way to spend a 3-night anniversary get-away! We look forward to our next visit.

My boyfriend and I went to Pheasant Field to close out 2023. It was the first time either of us stayed at a B&B and it exceeded our expectations! Kevin and Amy were the most amazing hosts... so warm and friendly and we immediately felt welcomed. We got a tour of the grounds and heard all about the plans to make this truly an amazing event venue, got to hang out with chickens, and were served delicious food. I feel like we got to know them. One of the most thoughtful pieces was when Amy gave us scones when we were leaving. I had mentioned when making my reservation that, while I avoid gluten, I am always open to scones. Since scones were not on the menu for breakfast either day, she gave us some that she made to take ho

I do not know where to begin. We drove up at night, so I suppose I cannot gush about the appearance from the exterior. Not that it wasn't beautiful, only that I didn't get to see it! Everything I (we) did see exceeded every expectation. The innkeepers, who live in residence, were totally accommodating to our needs, our quirks, and the lateness of our arrival. The house? Just gorgeous. Every touch, and there are a million touches, is precisely on point. The beds were like sleeping on clouds. The design elements, like something from a magazine. There are so many more things I am leaving out because you want a review, not a dissertation. Suffice to say, if you don't visit Pheasant Field, you are missing out. Before we'd left we were already talking about coming back, not to visit the area and consequently stay at Pheasant Field, but rather, making a trip expressly to stay at Pheasant Field and, "well, since we're here, let's visit the area!

My husband and I needed a place to stop with our horse. The hospitality was phenomenal, the owners were so welcoming and sweet. The horse paddock was clean and ready to go for us, she loved being able to stretch her legs and graze. The rooms are so cozy and comfortable. All of our needs were taken care of and we felt so at home. We will absolutely stay here again if we’re in the area. Don’t miss out on this quaint BnB!

My husband & I needed a place to stop for the night during a long trip home through Pennsylvania. I contacted Pheasant Field & they were so friendly from our first phone conversation. From there, things only improved. As we pulled into the ample parking area late that evening, I was thrilled to see a Pride flag hanging from the front porch. We were greeted by Kyle who gave us a tour & showed us to our room. The bedroom Appalachian Hideaway) & private en suite were both very clean, very tidy, and very comfortable. The innkeeper Kevin was very friendly & gave us some dinner recommendations for a late night bite. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had good pressure & an individual water heater so no risk of running out!! After a great night's sleep, we headed down for our Breakfast reservation where we were served delicious scratch-made food, including garden fresh herbs & free range eggs from the property. We went on to have several cups of fresh hot coffee while discussing travel adventures & renovation plans with the innkeepers. They were such a delight, it felt as though we were visiting with old friends. We hope to return again in the future!

We loved this pet friendly B&B. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. We found the room to be squeaky clean and comfortable. The grounds were perfect for walking our beagle after a long car ride….she loved inspecting the hens. Carlisle is a 4 mile drive with many nice small pubs. We will definitely add this as a stopping point on our semi annual trip between Maine and Florida.

This place was absolutely lovely! They were so wonderful and very accommodating! The room was fantastic and had every need met. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and needed to do a later check in time and they were super easy to work with and understanding. When we got there, he help my husband with bringing in our luggage and also taking our luggage back out to our vehicle the next morning. They were so hospitable and offered wonderful dietary restrictions for our needs and brought us breakfast in bed. Definitely a well deserved 10/10 place! We will definitely be coming back to stay in the future!

Just a wonderful stay from start to finish. Kevin greeted us and made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. He gave us a short history of the Pheasant Field Bed & Breakfast and the gorgeous stone barn lit up at night. He pointed out the walking trails around the property which were perfect for us and our pup. We stayed in the Pet-sylvania room which was well equipped with a dog bed and food dishes. It also had bathrobes, cozy sheets, and a comfortable bed for us humans. The mini fridge was enclosed in an antique cabinet. Good to know since there are complimentary beverages in the main house for guests. After our overnight, we were treated to Amy’s breakfast. We helped ourselves to coffee and tea. The starter was a yogurt parfait followed by caramel French toast, sausage, and a fresh fruit medley. Fresh cut flowers were on every table at 7am! We had the best night’s stay here. It was clean, comfortable, and a truly unique property. We will be back again soon.
